Sporting West is a 1925 silent Western.

Sports-loving inventor Richard Shelby develops an "Elasto-Tweed" golf suit then hits the road in hopes of making a few sales. Along the way, he meets Alice Elliott, who mistakes Shelby for millionaire sportsman Timothy Stanfield (Claude King). Forced to go through with the masquerade, Shelby ends up spending what little money he has, and then some.

The late sports lover and renowned satirist John Clarke looks at how Australia came to take its sport so seriously and what it means to be a sporting nation.

Life in the fast lane becomes deadly for Wilde and Sinclair when the mob tries to "fix" the sport of high-speed racing. Wilde then finds himself mixed up with lady luck and a network of communist killers.

Vetlugin, a worker at a Ural factory, becomes a member of the Moscow soccer team "Turbina". The captain and center forward Vitaly Grinko, known to the whole country, is jealous of the newcomer and tries to defame the simple-minded player. The whole team takes the side of the newcomer, criticizes the captain's behavior, and wins in the game with a foreign team.

Myles Vanders feuds with hardnosed stable owner Davis Lockwood. Myles takes revenge by romancing and marrying Lockwood's daughter Linda. But as the big race looms nearer, Myles is distracted to discover that he really loves Linda.
